Meghan VanKurin is a singer-songwriter in addition to being the front-woman for her band, Chantilly Whiskey (Learn more about the accomplishments she's made with her band here). The band was started in 2012 as a means to fill out her original music. Chantilly Whiskey is sponsored and endorsed by My Country 96.1FM, and has been the preshow openers for Little Big Town (2014), Dierks Bentley (2014), Sam Hunt (2015) Chris Stapleton (2016), Old Dominion (2017), Jake Owen (2018), and many others at the amphitheater. The band was also the first featured artist for WLINY's radio show, "Unsigned", and were crowned My Country 96.1's/Rudi's "next big county star" 2016. They were also featured in an episode of The Lounge as well in 2016.
A proud member of NSAI and ASCAP, Meghan has played countless coffeehouses as a singer-songwriter. She has also played the Bluebird Cafe, Douglas Corner, Belcourt Taps, and The Commodore in Nashville, TN (as well as an impromptu session requested by new fans while in Nashville); won a vocal contest hosted by Connecticut Country station 92.5FM to sing the National Anthem at a Monster Jam truck show in front of 7,000 people; and her originals have been played for 18,000 people at Madison Square Garden during a Rangers Playoff game. She currently spearheads the songwriting, marketing, booking, development, and social media for Chantilly Whiskey.
