Formed in late 2012 by singer-songwriter Meghan VanKurin, Chantilly Whiskey has been busy performing covers of today's favorite country radio hits as well as fan-favorite originals.  Just a few months after forming, the band earned the endorsement of local radio station My Country 96.1FM.
Recently they:
  • Meghan (solo) opened for Lanco & Michael Ray at the BBQ for Blue police benefit on the main stage
  • headlined the main stage at Sayville Summerfest Festival
  • Opened for each of the Old Dominion, Chris Janson, and Brett Eldredge(2018 and 2019) shows for the 2019 summer concert series at BMHMC amphitheater
In the past few years they:
  • Shared the Stereo Garden stage with Lindsay Ell for the Angela's House Benefit
  • headlined their first out of state show:
  • performed in Nashville, TN at Bluebird Cafe, Douglas Corner, Belcourt Taps, and Legend's (Meghan solo).
  • was featured on the hit TV show, The Lounge
  • opened for Toby Keith, Brett Eldredge and Billy Currington at shows at the Bald Hill Amphitheater (summer 2018)
  • opened for Old Dominion, Jake Owen, and Chris Stapleton & Brandy Clark at shows at Pennysaver Amphitheater (2017)
  • released their debut EP, "From the Lakehouse" (2016)
  •  were the first featured artist for WLINY's show, "Unsigned" (2016)
  • and were crowned Rudi's & My Country 96.1's "Next Big Country Star" 2016 (which led to a preshow spot for the Salute to Heroes/Big and Rich show).
They've also been the preshow opener for Little Big Town (2014), Dierks Bentley (2014), and Sam Hunt (2015) at Pennysaver Amphitheater.
Meghan, a proud member of NSAI and ASCAP, is constantly writing and working on developing new songs with band mates Doug Goerz, Erich Roelofsen, and Rich Tomanelli. The band is constantly pushing forward with their creativity, originality, and quality of their work.  They look forward to sharing their passion with the world as they develop.

Reviews

I was with you guys at Dockers Restaurant when you were performing there at the annual pig roast, and despite being on a 2 by 2 stage, you guys were really phenomenal!

 - Bill Powers, My Country 96.1FM DJ (taken from our on-air interview)

The singer has a great powerful voice and the instruments blended like that sound great.  The drums are nice and clear, and the guitar comes in at the perfect moments. Great Job!!!"  5 Stars - Delicious22222
